Welcome to FCM at YWAM Skjærgårdsheimen!

The Skjærgårdsheimen base is on the idyllic island of Flekkerøy, 13 km south-west from Kristiansand. The base has a beautiful view, grocery store 3 minuttes walk from us, and a bus stop 10 minutes walk from the base. The island of Flekkerøy has amazing nature. Next school starts 24th March 2010 and lasts until 18th June 2010.

Application

To get the application from just send us an e-mail to fcm@heimen.org and we will send it to you. Later on we will have an online application form.

If you will need to apply for a visa to Norway, we should receive your application and have time to contact your reference person before December 15th to have enough time to process it and for you to apply for your visa. Check this link to know if you will need to apply for a visa. Please contact us if you have questions about this.

We pray about the application and ask God to show us what His will is. So, everyone is welcome to apply no matter whar country you are from! Since it’s a secondary school we will contact the base where you did your DTS or other courses with YWAM.

Costs Lecture phase:

18,900 NOK (approx. $3100 US)

Finance:

Price lecture phase: NOK 18.900,- (approx.USD 3100/EURO 2062)

Price outreach: about  NOK 10.000,- (approx USD 1800/EURO 1200) plus airfare

The exchange rates are changing all the time, so you will need to double check this prices!

The school fee covers food and housing and teaching in Norway.  The outreach fee covers food, housing and travelling inside the outreach country. Personal emergency travel insurance, vaccinations and visa for outreach is not included in the school fee. So you need to add on about 2500 NOK for these costs too.

If you need a Norwegian visa to come here, you need to pay half of the school fee before we start the visa application process.

Housing:

Students lives in the dorm in the 2nd and 3rd floors. It is double rooms with a wash basin in each room. Many of the rooms are newly decorated and have a beautiful view over the sea. There are toilets and showers in each hallway. You can see pictures of the dorms here.
